Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - complete mandibular denture with no need of prosthetic corrections - presence of adequate quantity of bone for placement of dental implants in interforaminal and posterior mandibular area

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - medical history in which any elective oral surgical intervention would be contraindicated - heavy smoking (>10 cigarettes/day), pipe or cigar smoking - pregnancy
