Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: - good oral hygiene - presence of adequate quantity and quality of native bone to achieve primary implant stability - presence of sufficient mesio-distal space for the placement of a regular diameter implant (4.1 mm)
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: - active periodontal disease - heavy smoking (> 10 cigarettes/day), pipe or cigar smoking
