Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Risky alcohol consumption, assessed by an AUDIT score >=6/8 for women/men and an amount of 14/21 for women/men standard units alcoholl within the past week - having a job - Willingness to reduce alcohol consumption; - Access to the internet

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - currently under psychotherapy oder medication due to alcohol - medication for alcohol reduction within the past 6 months - diagnosis of any alcohol/drug use disorder

Alcohol consumption after 6 weeks, assessed by the number of standard glasses consumed within the last week using the timeline-follow-back method (TLFB, Sobell & Sobell, 1995)
