Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Average alcohol consumption of >12/24 g (women/men) of pure alcohol per day or/and an AUDIT-C score = 3. Further inclusion criteria: email access, availability of a computer or a smartphone, access to the internet, internet literacy, sufficient knowledge of the German language, a minimum age of 18 years, provision of written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Impairments in hearing, speech and vision, the presence of another severe, acutely treatable mental disorder (e.g., bipolar disorder or psychosis/schizophrenia), the presence of suicidal ideation and/or tendency.

Measurement of alcohol consumption: Quantity- Frequency-Index (amount of alcohol in g) last 30 days and Timeline-Follow-Back (amount of alcohol in g) last 7 days. From baseline (t0) to the three month follow-up (t1) and to the six month follow-up (t2)
