Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: In-hospital patients with witnessed arrest undergoing professional cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) which was started within 5 minutes after the arrest and is not lasting longer than 20 minutes before start of the perfusion using the CIRD, Invasive arterial blood pressure monitoring during the complete course of resuscitative efforts before, during and for 7 days after CIRD implantation.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Circulatory arrest due to trauma with severe bleeding, Patients with final stages of malignoma, Patients with a height lower than 150 cm, Patients >75 years, Failure of venous/arterial cannulation for extracorporeal circulation.
