Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: CI-Group (Cochlear Implant): uni- or bilateral CI HA-Group (Hearing Aid): bilateral use of hearing aids, modertate- to- severe hearing loss, severe-to-profound hearing loss Group (Normal Hearing): no additional disability all Subjects of the study who participated in study "early development" with Bayley- Scales III

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: severe disabilities

Follow-Up study of intelligence: Kaufmann Assessment Battery for Children: 1 testing: group a: children born after 2009 are evaluated at chronological age 4;6-5;6 years 1. testing: group b: children born before 2009 are tested in the course of 2014
