Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Atopic eczema, no sensitization to peanuts, no frequent peanut consumption, written informed consent from parents

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Lack of linguistic proficiency in German

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
IgE-mediated peanut allergy. In all children of the intervention and control group peanut-specific serum IgE will be determined 1 year after intervention. Sensitized children with elevated peanut-specific IgE will undergo an oral peanut challenge to determine clinical relevance.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Peanut-specific serum IgG4 determined in all children of the intervention and control group determined 1 year after intervention as a marker for tolerance
