Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The optimys study sets the inclusion criteria for patients; the sociodemographic questionnaire is piggybacking on the study as data collection by questionnaire without comparative data is not possible.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
This is a one-off sociodemographic questionnaire to be completed by the patients. Validated scores in this study include the Harris Hip Score, the short-form WOMAC and the Visual Analogue Scales (VAS) to measure pain and satisfaction they are the primary final study points. The scores shall be performed bevor the operation, the follow-ups shall be performed after 6-12 weeks and 12-14 months.

MeasureTime frame
Secondary Final Study Points: A retrospective analysis of the X-rays using EBRA-FCA (Femoral Component Analysis) for the evaluation of the stem migration. According to the evaluation of the Gruen Zones early loosening of the implants should be detected as soon as possible and evaluated and systematic collection of possible complications.
