Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children and adolescents with BMI > 97 th percentile and children and young people 8 years to 18 years

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Syndromal obesity, pregnancy

MeasureTime frame
Change in BMI-SDS (Standard Deviation Score of Body Mass Index) during the intervention year

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The following parameters are assesed at start and completion of the intervention: change in waist circumference, body fat distribution and body fat content (skinfolds: triceps, biceps, subscapular, suprailiacal); change in metabolic profile within intervention year, assessment of motor skills at start and after completion of intervention (MFT), assessment of and change in psychological parameters within the year of intervention: eating disorder symptoms (Child Eating Disorder Examination, ChEDE-Q ), depressive symptoms (Depressions-Inventar für Kinder und Jugendliche, DIKJ ), weight bias internalization (Weight Bias Internalization Scale, WBIS)
