Group 1: Patients with acute stroke recieve a MRI exam within 72 hours after admission including contrast enhanced perfusion imaging and will be additionally evaluated after clinical criteria on disch

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with a complete MRI emergency stroke protocoll including perfusion imaging within 9 hours of onset.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Contraindications to MRI according to routinely used consent forms including pacemaker, implanted drug pumps, pregnancy etc.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Prediction of reperfusion based on MRI baseline measurements (ADC, perfusion, FLAIR) in treated and untreated patients.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Prediction of 3-month clinical outcome based on baseline and short term MRI followup measurements in treated and untreated patients.
