Inclusion criteria: participants of a former therapy study (DBT) in Freiburg

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: acute intoxication, acute psychotic episode, acute severe depressive episode or acute manic episode, not speaking fluently in german

The primary endpoint is the characteristic of the criteria for BPD, assessed by the SCID-I and the BSL-23, and the quality of life assessed by the WHO QOL-BREF, EQ-5D (Rabin & de Charro, 2000), Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS, Diener, 1985) and Short Form 36 Health Survey Questionnaire (SF36, Bullinger, I. Kirchberger, 1995).	—

The secondary endpoint includes different characteristics which are important for remission due to current relevant studies. It involves general functioning, general mental burden, comorbidity, emotion regulation and partnerships. Additionally body perception, self-esteem and illness perception should be analyzed as secondary endpoint. This variables will be measured with the following assessments: general level of functioning: Global Assessment of Functioning Scale nach DSM IV (GAF; American Psychiatric Association, 1994); general mental burden and comorbidity: Brief-Symptom-Inventory (BSI, Franke, 2000), Beck-Depressions-Inventar (BDI, Hautzinger et al., 1995), Impact of Event Scale (IES-R, Weiss & Marmar, 1996), self measurment of ADHS-SB (Rösler et al., 2004), questionnaire of dissociative symptoms (FDS, Freyberger et al., 1998), Identity Disturbance Questionnaire (IDQ, Wilkinson-Ryan et al., 2000), Barrat-Impulsivityscale (BIS-10, Patton et al., 1995), State Trait Anger Expression Inventory (STAXI, dt.
