Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Indication for PEG, written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: A life expectancy of less than 14 days, pregnancy or breast feeding, severe coagulation disorders, and ascites in the upper abdomen. Denial of consent.

Complications after PEG placement at discharge, and during the follow-up after 4,12, and 24 weeks. Survival after 6 months.
