Interventions

Group 1: Resektion of the adenoma, first endoscopic control after 3-6 months and second endoscopic control after 12 month. At each control we perforrmed a biopsy (min 3x) of the postpolypectomy scar

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: patients with large, nonpedunculated lesions (> 20 mm) in whom endoscopic resection was planned were included in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who had severe comorbidity (over grade III in the American Society of Anesthesiologists classification) or were receiving oral anticoagulation treatment were excluded
