Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To determine the predictive value (at visit 1) of the VOC (volatile organic compound) profile analysis regarding sputum eosinophilia (= 3%), as assessed by AUC (area unter the curve) of the ROC (Receiver Operator characteristics) curve of the linear discriminant (electronic nose)

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
- to analyse the predictive value of the VOC (volatile organic compound) profile analysis (at visit 1) for the clinical course (as measured by the change in ACQ-7) within three months
