Group 1: After reaching full enteral feeds with 8-12 meals per day and otherwise stable vital signs the infants recieve a subcutaneous glucose sensor recording tissue glucose values for 72 hours.

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Preterm infants born prior to 32 weeks of gestational age or at a birthweight below 1500g.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Pathological results on postnatal metabolic screening test; family history of metabolic disorders; major malformations
