Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| characterizing changes in metabolites in plasma and PBMC (peripheral blood mononuclear cells) (ESI-MS/MS), transcripts of PBMC (qPCR), proteins of PBMC (western blot) and nuclear extracts from PBMC (electrophoretic mobility shift assay) in all of the above-mentioned timepoints following different nutritional challenges | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| - determination of suitable timepoints for bloodwithdrawals for further genotype-dependent studys [metabolomics, transcriptomics, proteomics] - need for a three day dietary standardization previous to a nutritional challenge [metabolomics] | — |
