Interventions

Group 1: Geriatric in-patients with a serum sodium concentration of 130 mmol/l or less undergo physical examination, neuropsychological testing to assess delirium (CAM), and a comprehensive geriatric

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Hyponatremia </= 130 mmol/l; informed consent by patient or legal representative

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Contacted later than 48 hours after laboratory measurement of hyponatremia
