Group 1: Intervention: Supplementary social counseling services as an intensive social counseling services and telephone-based aftercare program Group 2: Intervention for control group: Two appointmen

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Rehabilition-Patients with a gradual reintegration into the working life after a long time of illness.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with severe psychological stresses, who are not in a position to judge the study participation. Patients with insufficient language skills which are not in a position to judge the study participation.

Measure	Time frame
Screening-instruments: At the begin of studies both groups (intervention- and control group) get a questionnaire (working and private lives, confidence in the future, demographic details). Two weeks later both groups get a further questionnaire (effects of treatment), six month after discharge from rehabilitation both groups get a questionnaire (follow-up - questions about the supplementary social counseling serives, situation at workplace). The telephone-based aftercare program will be logged and evaluated. Qualitativ interviews (for 10 percent of the study participants). Primary Outcome: Evaluation of the return-to-work-rate in both groups.	—

Secondary Outcome: The change of pension claims (reduction in earning capacity) and the change of health costs (payments for illness) during and after the reintegration process (return to work). The remaining in job should have positive effects for the pension claims (to change the pension claims). The remaining in job should have positive effects for the health costs (to change the health costs). The participants keep a diary about their health costs for a period of six months. The diary will be evaluated for a health economic analyses.	—
