Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Intraarticular calcaneus fracture: fracture type joint depression or tongue-type Surgery at Murnau Tauma Center with open reduction and osteosynthesis with screw or plate

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: open fracture, polytrauma, pregnancy, complex regional pain syndrome, other severe medical disorder, other injury of lower extremity

Pedobarography: Size of vertical component of reaction force of fractured and non-fractured foot (symmetric load) after 6 months

Joint adaption during anatomical reposition (CT data of fractured and non-fractured foot in mm2, angle: degrees) 3 months postop., AOFAS Score (American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society) to assess pain function,gait and range of motion at 3, 6,12 and 24 months SF-36 Score to assess quality of life with the evaluation of physical and mental health and EQ-5D Score (3,6,12,24 months), complications during 24 months, period of disability during 24 months Muscle structure Parameters (Fascicle Angle, Fascicle Length)
