Inclusion criteria: Patients: unilateral cleft lip and palate Controls: healthy control person
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: acute infections, drug or alcohol abusus, mental illness

| Seven saliva samples were collected to determine the cortisol level at different time points. The samples were taken at following time points. 2 minutes before the Trier Social Stress Test (TSST). 1, 10, 20, 30, 45 and 60 minutes after the TSST. Cortisol concentration was analyzed by ultra performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry. | — |
