Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All patients who were operated at the Wedel Hospital, Wedel, Germany or at the Asklepios West-Klinikum Hamburg, Hamburg, Germany by a single surgeon (W. H.) and who have received a primary unilateral Preservation mobile-bearing unicompartmental knee replacement because of osteoarthritis are candidates for inclusion in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria are: (a) Ahlbäcks disease, (b) osteonecrosis, (c) malignancy, (d) inability to fill in the questionnaire because of language deficiencies, and (e) lower extremity amputation.
