18 Years to 85 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with parkinson's disease, multiple system atrophy, cortico-basal degeneration, progressive supranuclear palsy or dementia with lewy bodies who are willing to participate at any state of the disease. Controls will be without neurological disease, matched for age.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Contraindications against MRI as huge tatoos, implants as pace makers, impulse generators etc.

Detecting the degeneration of the fibre tracts via MRI DTI (diffusion tensor imaging) sequences using global fibre tracking, Comparison of the fibre tracts by voxel based morphometry (VBM), resting-state sequences are performed to test the functionality of these tracts.
