Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Pupils of public elementary schools selected for the study in the province of Camiguin Island and Gingoog City (Misamis Oriental, Mindanao)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Children with other systemic diseases were excluded from the study at the time of recruitment

MeasureTime frame
Longitudinal Cohort Study with a total duration of 4 years (2010-2013), Data collection at baseline and after each year respectively (in August). Based on the study protocol the following data is collected: basic socio-demographic data (age, sex, number of siblings etc - questionnaire), anthropometric data (height, weight - clinical measurement), oral health status (DMFT, DMFS, PUFA Index - clinical examination), parasitologic status (infection with soil-transmitted helminths, worm load - laboratory testing), simple quality of life data (questionnaire)
