Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: - age between 18-85 years - diagnosis of idiopathic dystonia at time of surgery - bilateral GPI-DBS - poor response to GPI-DBS (less than 30 % improvement on the BFMDRS-M compared to preoperative state) - stable clinical status after GPi-DBS for a minimum of 3 months - written informed consent given by patient - no other severe neurological or other clinical problem
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: - other severe neurological disease (dementia, epilepsy) - persons who are not legally competent, minors and indivduals who have been under custody due to a court ruling or by decision of public authorities
