Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - young athletes (special boarding school for athletes) - written informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - diseases inhibit exercise - acut infection - pregnancy - acut back pain (last 7 days)

Primary

MeasureTime frame
A sumscore for trunk stability/function is to be formed from biomechanical measures (Center of pressure path: one leg stand; jump-power; peak torque of the trunk; Surface Electromyogram time and amplitude measures). The measurements will be done pre and post Intervention (6 weeks).

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
specific biomechanical measures are assessed pre and post intervention (6 weeks): - center of pressure (COP) path during one leg stand (Ground reaction force plate; AMTI). Quantified with the total displacement of the COP for 10s. - jump-power using counter movement jumps (Ground reaction force plate; AMTI). Quantified with the maximum force during push off (Fz). - maximum strength capacity of the trunk during trunkrotation and trunk flexion/extension (Dynamometer, Con-trex MJ/TP/WS). Quantified with peak torque. - muscular activity of the trunk muscles, quantified with surface electromyography (time-measures; on-off pattern)
