Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The primary endpoint of the study is the biochemical pregnancy rate (hCG minimum level: 10 mu/ml serum, not before day 15 after oocyte retrieval).

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Fertilization rate, top quality embryo rate (score 4, according to Bongso), embryo utilization rate, implantation rate, cryopreservation rate, live birth rate. Fertilization rate is the number of normal fertilized (2PN) embryos divided by the number of oocytes. Embryo utilization rate is the number of embryos which can be used for transfer or cryopreservation divided by the total number of embryos. The implantation rate is defined as the number of intruterine sacs observed by ultrasound within 8 weeks of embryo transfer divided by the number of embryos transferred. The live birth rate is defined by the number of patients with one or more live-born infants divided by the number of patients with an oocyte retrieved.
