Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Healthy subjects apart from the Achilles tendinopathy - Experienced runners with at least 2 years of regular running. Recruitment though local running groups and clubs.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Cardiovascular disease - Neurological disease - Systemic diseases, e.g. Diabetes, Rheumatoid Arthritis - Current pain that prevents from running 10 km

Changes in rearfoot motion during treadmill-running after a 10 km run; instrument: mechanical goniometer; measurement: before and after a 10 km run

- Changes in muscle activities of the shank muscles during treadmill running after a 10 km run; instrument: Electromyography (Noraxon); measurement: before and after a 10 km run - Changes in plantar pressures during walking after a 10 km run; instrument: EMED platform; measurement: before and after a 10 km run
