Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Diagnostic findings from FibroScan examination: controlled attenuation parameter (CAP) >=238 dB/m, together with any one of the following metabolic risk factors: (1) BMI >=23 kg/m^2, or waist circumference (WC) >90 cm in males, or waist circumference (WC) >85 cm in females; (2) FBG >=5.6 mmol/L (100 mg/dL), or 2-hour postprandial glucose >=7.8 mmol/L (140 mg/dL), or HbA1c >=5.7% (39 mmol/mol), or confirmed diagnosis of type 2 diabetes mellitus, or ongoing treatment for type 2 diabetes mellitus; (3) Blood pressure >=130/85 mmHg, or receiving specific antihypertensive therapy; (4) Plasma triglycerides (TG) >=1.70 mmol/L (150 mg/dL), or receiving lipid-lowering therapy; (5) Plasma HDL-C <=1.0 mmol/L (40 mg/dL) in males, or plasma HDL-C <=1.3 mmol/L (50 mg/dL) in females, or receiving lipid-lowering therapy. 2.Aged 18 to 80 years.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. History of daily alcohol intake exceeding 20 g for females and 30 g for males ; 2.Other causes of steatosis ; 3. Pregnancy status;
