Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Elderly individuals aged >= 60 years old; 2. Meeting the diagnostic criteria for type 2 diabetes mellitus specified in the Chinese Clinical Guidelines for the Prevention and Treatment of Type 2 Diabetes in the Elderly (2022 Edition); 3. Meeting the screening criteria published by the Subjective Cognitive Decline International Working Group in 2014 and updated in 2020: (1) Compared with the previous normal state, self-perceived persistent cognitive decline that is not associated with an acute event; (2) Subjective perception of memory decline rather than decline in other cognitive domains; (3) Duration of decline = 60 years; (5) Presence of concerns about memory decline; (6) Exclusion of anxiety, depression, and other neurological disorders that can cause cognitive decline; (7) After adjusting for age, sex, and years of education, performance on standard cognitive tests is normal or does not meet the diagnostic criteria for MCI (Mini-Mental State Examination [MMSE]: illiterate group >= 20 points, primary school group >= 25 points, middle school and above group >= 28 points); (8) Score on the Chinese version of the Subjective Cognitive Decline Questionnaire (SCD-Q9) >= 5 points. 4. Clear consciousness with intact communication ability; 5. Able to read and write independently, or complete the questionnaire with assistance from investigators; 6. Understand and sign the informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Those complicated with severe mental disorders and unable to cooperate; 2. Those with physical disabilities, severe neuromuscular diseases (e.g., Parkinson’s disease), or other malignant diseases (e.g., tumors) who are long-term bedridden or have impaired quality of daily life.
