Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Straight wire orthodontic treatment, reducing the mesial movement of the first premolars on both sides of the maxilla and the anterior teeth, with the incisal edge mesial movement of the teeth being >= 1mm; 2. The initial diagnosis age is 11 to 40 years old, with a permanent dentition; 3. There is no tooth loss in the maxillary incisor area; 4. At the first visit, the maxillary incisors have no obvious ectopic or impacted state; 5. There is no history of orthodontic treatment or restoration treatment in the maxillary incisor area; 6. The maxillary incisors have no dental, pulp or periapical lesions, and there are no jaw cystic lesions in the incisor area; 7. The patient cooperates with the treatment and signs the informed consent form, and the preoperative and postoperative data are complete.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. After the treatment, there is obvious root resorption of the maxillary incisors. 2. Those with a history of facial trauma. 3. There are supernumerary teeth or impacted teeth in the maxillary incisor area. 4. There are scattered gaps in the maxillary incisor area. 5. Moderate to severe periodontal disease or active periodontal disease. 6. Taking drugs that reduce bone metabolism, such as bisphosphonates or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. 7. Those with temporomandibular joint symptoms. 8. Those requiring combined orthodontic and orthognathic treatment. 9. Patients with cleft lip and palate deformity.
