Parkinson's disease (PD) is a common neurodegenerative disorder. Its clinical manifestations include motor symptoms such as bradykinesia, rigidity and resting tremor, as well as non-motor symptoms including hyposmia, depression and cognitive impairment. Cognitive impairment is one of the prevalent and disabling non-motor symptoms in PD with insidious onset, mainly consisting of mild cognitive impa

Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.PD-MCI group (1) Patients diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease (PD) according to the Chinese Diagnostic Criteria for Parkinson’s Disease (2016 Edition). Patients report cognitive decline or are observed to have cognitive deterioration; evidence of cognitive impairment is confirmed via neuropsychological assessment, while impairment is not severe enough to interfere with independence in activities of daily living. (2) Patients with idiopathic PD and Hoehn-Yahr stage 1–3; (3) Age ranging from 40 to 80 years old; (4) Able to fully understand all contents of the informed consent form and voluntarily sign the form. 2.PD-NC group (1) Patients diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease (PD) according to the Chinese Diagnostic Criteria for Parkinson’s Disease (2016 Edition). Patients have no self-reported or observed cognitive decline, and neuropsychological assessments show no evidence of cognitive impairment, with preserved independence in activities of daily living. (2) Patients with idiopathic PD and Hoehn-Yahr stage 1–3; (3) Age ranging from 40 to 80 years old; (4) Able to fully understand all contents of the informed consent form and voluntarily sign the form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients with uncertain diagnosis or suspected Parkinsonism (including vascular, drug-induced, toxic, post-infectious parkinsonism), multiple system atrophy, progressive supranuclear palsy, etc.; 2.History of moderate to severe traumatic brain injury, hydrocephalus, intracranial surgery or brain tumor; 3.Patients with severe cognitive, visual or auditory disorders who cannot communicate and cooperate with examinations; 4.Complicated with severe cardiac, pulmonary, hepatic or renal insufficiency; 5.Patients diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease dementia according to MDS criteria, patients with other primary etiologies leading to cognitive impairment, and patients with other PD-related symptoms that may significantly interfere with cognitive function assessments.
