Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.The ASD group meets the diagnostic criteria for autism spectrum disorder according to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition (DSM-5); 2.The typically developing group shows no developmental abnormalities as assessed by the Denver Developmental Screening Test II (DDST-II).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Ocular physiological abnormalities: Ocular diseases that may affect the collection of visual behavior data, such as congenital cataract, strabismus, or amblyopia, to avoid “false-positive features” caused by physiological problems and interference with technical calibration. 2.Severe underlying diseases: Conditions such as epilepsy, cerebral palsy, or severe intellectual disability that prevent participants from completing the fixed-stimulus task, to ensure that all participants can complete a standardized testing procedure. 3.Contraindications to testing: Acute illnesses such as fever or vomiting within 1 week before testing, to avoid the influence of physical condition on test stability.
