Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. =18 years of age (adjustable based on actual circumstances). 2. This study plans to retrospectively include clinical data and/or clinical samples of individuals diagnosed with ankylosing spondylitis who visited the Department of Rheumatology and Immunology at the single-center Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital, Zhejiang University School of Medicine between December 2021 and December 2023, as well as healthy individuals who underwent physical examination at the single-center Physical Examination Center of Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital, Zhejiang University School of Medicine during the same period.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Previously diagnosed and treated at another hospital; 2. Presence of endocrine diseases affecting bone metabolism, such as hyperthyroidism, hyperparathyroidism, or Cushing's syndrome; 3.Comorbid with other connective tissue diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis or systemic lupus erythematosus; 4.Presence of hematological diseases affecting BMD, such as multiple myeloma, leukemia, or myelodysplastic syndrome; 5. Comorbid with severe hepatic or renal impairment, long-term use of medications affecting bone metabolism such as glucocorticoids, or severe malnutrition.
