Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Inclusion criteria for the case group: aged =30 years; American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status classification grade ??; clinically diagnosed with neuropathic pain; body mass index (BMI) between 18 and 30 kg/m². 2. Inclusion criteria of the control group: age =30 years; physical examination showing "healthy" or "no obvious abnormalities"; absence of cardiovascular diseases (hypertension, coronary heart disease, arrhythmia, heart failure, valvular heart disease); no diabetes, severe liver/renal dysfunction, or malignant tumors that may affect cardiovascular condition; no recent use of drugs affecting blood pressure, heart rate or cardiac function (ß-blockers, calcium antagonists, ACEIs/ARBs).
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Exclusion criteria for the case group: patients complicated with severe cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, hepatic or renal insufficiency, or severe arrhythmia; patients with a history of psychiatric disorders or long-term use of psychotropic drugs; patients with malignant tumors. 2. Exclusion criteria of the control group: acute pain within 1 month (trauma, post-operative, acute toothache, acute abdominal pain) requiring analgesia; any analgesic use within 2 weeks (NSAIDs, opioids, acetaminophen, topical analgesic patches); presence of chronic pain (arthritis, postherpetic neuralgia, diabetic peripheral neuropathy, sciatica, trigeminal neuralgia, post-spinal cord injury chronic pain, migraine, visceral pain).
