Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age: Patients aged >=65 years; 2. Diagnosis: Confirmed diagnosis of pneumonia, including community-acquired pneumonia and hospital-acquired pneumonia, meeting international diagnostic criteria for pneumonia; 3. Length of hospital stay: Hospitalization for >=3 days in the fever clinic observation ward of Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hospital, Sun Yat-sen University; 4. Absence of severe complications: No severe respiratory failure, acute onset of cardiac disease, or other severe complications at the time of admission.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Severe comorbidities: Presence of severe comorbidities, such as liver failure, renal failure, malignant tumors, etc., that may affect study outcomes; 2. Mental disorders: Presence of severe mental disorders or cognitive impairment that prevents effective communication or cooperation with treatment; 3. Recent surgery history: Major surgical procedures within the past 3 months; 4. Unsuitable for exercise: Patients deemed unsuitable for respiratory exercise by the physician's assessment; 5. Pregnancy: Female patients who are pregnant.
