Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients aged between 18 and 70 years. 2. Postoperative pathology confirmed renal cell carcinoma, with preoperative imaging (CTA/MRI) demonstrating the presence of venous tumor thrombus (including renal vein tumor thrombus, grades 0 to IV). 3. Completed renogram (radionuclide renal dynamic imaging) within 3 months prior to surgery at our hospital or another institution, with complete data. 4. Complete perioperative serum creatinine data available (including at least preoperative baseline and the highest value within 48 hours postoperatively).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Bilateral renal cell carcinoma, solitary kidney, horseshoe kidney, or duplicated kidney malformation. 2. Pre-existing severe renal insufficiency (CKD stage 4–5, or eGFR < 30 ml/min), or requiring preoperative dialysis. 3. Pre-existing comorbidities affecting renal function, such as uncontrolled severe hypertension, diabetic nephropathy stage IV or above, or bilateral renal artery stenosis. 4. Pre-existing urological diseases affecting the interpretation of renogram results, such as severe hydronephrosis (ipsilateral or contralateral) or upper urinary tract stones with obstruction. 5. History of nephritis or long-term use of glucocorticoids/immunosuppressants. 6. Undergone palliative surgery (incomplete tumor resection or incomplete thrombectomy) or nephron-sparing surgery. 7. Severely incomplete clinical or follow-up data.
