Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age >= 18 years; 2. Ischemic stroke confirmed by head CT or MRI, meeting clinical diagnostic criteria; 3. Delirium meets the diagnostic criteria of the American Psychiatric Association's Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition (DSM-V) and the Chinese version of the CAM-ICU delirium assessment scale; 4. Able to cooperate in completing relevant assessments and specimen collection; 5. The patient or their family members sign an informed consent form, voluntarily agreeing to participate in this study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Use of gastrointestinal motility drugs, laxatives, antibiotics, probiotics, and prebiotics within the past month; 2. Patients who are continuously using antipsychotic medications and have been diagnosed with a mental illness or have a history of mental illness; 3. Comorbid life-threatening major diseases such as liver or kidney failure, heart failure, respiratory failure, etc.
