Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Pathologically confirmed esophageal malignant neoplasm; 2.Elective minimally invasive radical esophagectomy via three-incision cervicothoracoabdominal approach; 3.Prior diagnosis of diabetes mellitus;

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients with recurrent esophageal cancer; 2.Patients with cervical esophageal carcinoma; 3.Patients with intraoperative conversion of surgical approach (e.g., unresectable tumor identified intraoperatively, conversion to open thoracotomy or laparotomy); 4.Patients receiving combined resection of other visceral organs during operation; 5.Patients with missing clinical data;
