Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: COPD Group: 1. Age >=18 years; 2. Meet the COPD diagnostic criteria of the GOLD guidelines; 3. Have complete pulmonary function test data; 4. Undergo thoracic surgical lung tissue resection due to lung masses, nodules, or other diseases; 5. Sign informed consent form. Control Group: 1. Age >=18 years; 2. No history of COPD; 3. Normal pulmonary function test; 4. Undergo thoracic surgical lung tissue resection due to benign or malignant lung lesions; 5. Sign informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.concomitant bronchial asthma; 2.idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis or other interstitial lung diseases; 3.active pulmonary tuberculosis; 4.severe infectious diseases; 5.autoimmune diseases; 6.malignant hematologic disorders; 7.long-term treatment with glucocorticoids or immunosuppressants; 8.incomplete clinical data; 9.refusal to provide written informed consent.
