Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Meets the diagnostic criteria for low back pain (LBP), with low back pain duration >= 2 months and a Visual Analog Scale (VAS) score of 23; 2. Aged between 25 and 60 years; 3. Has at least 1 year of continuous teaching or research experience at an institution of higher education; 4. Engages in prolonged sitting, standing, or desk-bound work—occupational behaviors known to induce back pain; 5. Free from severe organic diseases such as lumbar fracture, intervertebral disc herniation, spinal tumor, or spinal infection; 6. Free from severe cardiovascular diseases, musculoskeletal disorders, or contraindications to physical activity; 7. Has not received physical therapy or pharmacological interventions for back pain in the past 2 months; 8. Has not undergone exercise training targeting the lumbar region in the 3 months prior to the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. History of spinal surgery or vertebral fracture; 2. Withdrawal due to personal reasons or poor intervention adherence leading to a completion rate of < 80%; 3. Discontinuation of participation due to the occurrence of serious adverse events; Identification of health conditions via questionnaire screening that impede safe engagement in physical activity; 4. Individuals with cardiovascular disease or severe chronic diseases; 5. Individuals with reflex motor dysfunction; 6. Elderly individuals aged over 60 years, pregnant women, adolescents, and individuals with cognitive impairment.
