Conditions

Atrophic gastritis,Early gastric cancer and precancerous lesions

Interventions

Domestic endoscope group:Using domestic OLYMPUS super-resolution imaging technology combined with 4K imaging endoscope: gastroscope models EG650, EG650T. Routine white light examination, after identif
Imported endoscope group:Using imported endoscopes that can achieve weak magnification through one-touch zoom, including Fujifilm magnifying endoscopes and Olympus endoscopes with dual-focus function

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged >=18 years; 2. Patients undergoing gastroscopy due to gastrointestinal symptoms (such as upper abdominal discomfort, foreign body sensation in swallowing, etc.) or high-risk screening; 3. Suspected lesions detected endoscopically and subjects agree to receive targeted biopsy; 4. Voluntarily participate in this study and sign the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. History of gastric surgery; 2. Advanced gastric malignancies; 3. Previous radiotherapy or chemotherapy; 4. Poor image quality (mucosal surface cannot be clearly visualized due to massive mucus or air bubbles); 5. Contraindications to gastroscopy and anesthesia, or contraindications to biopsy including ongoing use of anticoagulants or antiplatelet agents; 6. Pregnant and lactating women.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Sensitivity and specificity for diagnosis of chronic atrophic gastritis with precancerous lesions (low-grade intraepithelial neoplasia/dysplasia, high-grade intraepithelial neoplasia/dysplasia) and early gastric cancer;

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Diagnostic accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, negative predictive value, and correct diagnosis rate for the nature and boundaries of early gastric cancer and precancerous lesions;
