Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.First-episode patients, or no use of psychotropic medications other than SSRIs within one month prior to enrollment. 2.Total score = 20 on the 24-item Hamilton Depression Rating Scale (HAMD-24). 3.Score = 6 on the Beck Scale for Suicide Ideation-Chinese Version (BSI-CV). 4.Normal findings on electroencephalography (EEG). 5.Willingness to comply with the treatment protocol and provision of signed informed consent (from parents/guardians and assent from adolescents).
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Other psychiatric disorders, including but not limited to bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, and mental disorders due to organic diseases. 2.Neurodevelopmental disorders. 3.Severe physical illnesses. 4.Individuals with a history of seizures. 5.Individuals with medical devices that are incompatible with the treatment, such as pacemakers and other metal implants.
