Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Visited our hospital's transgender voice clinic during the study period (August 1, 2016 to July 31, 2025); 2. Main complaint is the need for voice feminization/masculinization or voice-related concerns, with medical records clearly indicating a transgender/gender incongruence background; 3. Completed a basic voice assessment and key variables can be obtained (at minimum: age, gender identity direction, initial fundamental frequency, treatment method, etc.).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Individuals with significant organic laryngeal lesions or anatomical abnormalities, such as laryngeal tumors or severe structural deformities, that could substantially affect voice assessment; 2.Individuals who did not complete the baseline voice assessment or had missing key exposure or outcome variables, making it impossible to determine the treatment pathway or include them in the primary analysis; 3.Individuals with severe neuromuscular disorders or other clearly defined conditions affecting phonation, resulting in non-comparable voice data; 4.Duplicate visit records that could not be accurately identified, consolidated, or deduplicated.
