Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Age =18 years; 2.For the acute pulmonary embolism cohort: patients with acute symptomatic pulmonary embolism confirmed by computed tomography pulmonary angiography or ventilation/perfusion imaging; 3.For the chronic thromboembolic pulmonary disease cohort: patients fulfilling the diagnostic criteria for chronic thromboembolic pulmonary disease, with or without pulmonary hypertension; 4.Eligible for ventilation/perfusion SPECT/CT imaging; 5.Ability to understand the study and provide written informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Contraindications for SPECT/CT examination; 2. Image quality insufficient for quantitative analysis; 3. Severe lung diseases, pulmonary bullae, infections, pleural effusion, lung tumors, etc.; 4. History of lung surgery; 5. Pregnancy or breastfeeding; 6. Expected lifespan < 12 months; 7. Severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
