Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients who meet the diagnostic criteria for ischemic stroke according to the Chinese Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Acute Ischemic Stroke (2018), confirmed by cranial MRI or CT 2. first-ever stroke 3.disease course < 6 months 4.motor dysfunction symptoms persisting for = 2 weeks. Clear consciousness, stable vital signs, no dementia or psychiatric disorders. No cognitive impairment, able to communicate normally with medical staff and cooperate with treatment. Willing to voluntarily participate in the study and provide signed informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Non-ischemic stroke or limb motor dysfunction secondary to hemorrhagic transformation after infarction. 2.Cognitive impairment based on the Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE): =17 points for illiterates, =20 points for primary school education, <24 points for junior high school education or above. 3.Severe cardiac, pulmonary, or renal dysfunction. 4.Consciousness disorders or psychiatric illness preventing cooperation with treatment and evaluation. 5.Contraindications to taVNS therapy (e.g., facial or auricular pain, recent ear trauma, metallic implants above the cervical level).
