Intervention group:The intervention group received PBL case-based learning jointly guided by clinicians and basic science faculty.
Control group:The control group received PBL case-based learning guided by basic science faculty.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Officially enrolled as a third-year undergraduate student in the five-year clinical medicine program at a medical college; 2. Have completed the core basic medical courses and voluntarily participate in this study; 3. Are willing to accept random grouping and provide informed consent for the teaching intervention; 4. Have been informed of the research content and purpose (or agree to participate in the educational research).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Students who failed to complete core prerequisite courses; 2. Were unable to participate fully in the 3-week PBL intervention; 3. Withdrew during the study; 4. Or could not complete outcome assessments.
