Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Inclusion Criteria for Patients with Skeletal Class II Dentofacial Deformity: Patient with skeletal Class II dentofacial deformity (ANB angle > 5°) who undergoes orthognathic surgery combined with orthodontic treatment, with the surgical procedure being bilateral sagittal split ramus osteotomy (BSSRO), with or without Le Fort I osteotomy; No parafunctional occlusal habits, with normal mouth opening range and pattern, and no limitation of mouth opening; No pain in bilateral temporomandibular joints (TMJs) prior to surgery; Age between 18 and 50 years (18 <= age <=50); Complete dentition before the initiation of treatment; Complete diagnostic data and clinical records available. 2.Inclusion Criteria for Patients with Skeletal Class III Dentofacial Deformity: Patient with skeletal Class III dentofacial deformity (ANB angle < 0°) who undergoes orthognathic surgery combined with orthodontic treatment, with the surgical procedure being bilateral sagittal split ramus osteotomy (BSSRO), with or without Le Fort I osteotomy; No parafunctional occlusal habits, with normal mouth opening range and pattern, and no limitation of mouth opening; No pain in bilateral temporomandibular joints (TMJs) prior to surgery; Age between 18 and 50 years (18 <=age <=50); Complete dentition before the initiation of treatment; Complete diagnostic data and clinical records available.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients with syndromic conditions or systemic diseases; 2.Patients with a history of facial trauma, mandibular condylar fracture, or jaw bone defects; 3.Patients with craniofacial morphological abnormalities.
