Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients meeting the Sepsis 3.0 diagnostic criteria (SOFA score = 2 with a confirmed source of infection); 2.Age 18–80 years; 3.Admission to the ICU within 24 hours.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Pregnant or lactating women; 2.Presence of malignant tumors or immunodeficiency disorders; 3.Recent treatment with immunosuppressive agents; 4.Presence of chronic lung diseases, such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) or pulmonary fibrosis; 5.Any other condition deemed inappropriate for inclusion by the investigators.
