Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria for the case group: 1. Ages between 6 and 17 years old; 2. The diagnosis of NAFL (non-alcoholic fatty liver) and NASH (non-alcoholic steatohepatitis) refers to the NAFLD Activity Score announced by the NASH Clinical Research Network of the National Institutes of Health. Liver fibrosis is referred to the METAVIR Scoring System. Inclusion criteria for the control group: 1. Ages between 6 and 17 years old; 2. Fatty liver is excluded by liver ultrasound examination.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria for the case group: Exclude those with a drinking habit, liver diseases caused by pharmacological and chemical factors, and specific diseases that can lead to fatty liver in children. Exclusion criteria for the control group: 1.Exclude liver diseases caused by pharmacological and chemical factors, including glucocorticoids, traditional Chinese medicine preparations, and dietary supplements, etc.; 2.chronic liver diseases, including hepatitis B, hepatitis C, autoimmune liver diseases, hereditary and metabolic liver diseases, etc.; 3.hypothalamic-pituitary lesions, thyroid diseases; 4. those with poor general conditions, severe infections, severe hepatic or renal insufficiency, or cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases.
