Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. First-time unilateral stroke (cerebral infarction or cerebral hemorrhage) confirmed by CT or MRI; 2. In the recovery phase of stroke (3–12 months of disease course); 3. Motor function of the affected lower limb meets Brunnstrom stage IV criteria, showing isolated movements but weak ankle dorsiflexion; 4. Able to walk independently for at least 10 meters without assistance or aid; 5. Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) score >=24, or no significant cognitive or communication impairment; 6. Signed informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Comorbidity with other neurological or musculoskeletal disorders (Parkinson's disease, spinal cord injury, severe arthritis, etc.); 2. Severe heart, lung, liver, or kidney dysfunction, or uncontrolled hypertension; 3. Vestibular dysfunction or severe visual impairment affecting gait and balance; 4. Severe aphasia, neglect, or communication disorders; 5. Use of medications that significantly affect muscle strength, muscle tone, or balance function; 6. Body mass index (BMI) >30 kg/m^2; 7. Other conditions deemed unsuitable for participation in this study by the investigator.
